Chief of the United Nations Mission In Nepal (UNMIN) Ian Martin who is also a special representative of  the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki- Moon in Nepal has urged Prime Minister Girija Prasad  Koirala to seek the grounds of consensus among the political parities.

During the meet with Prime Minister Koirala at his official residence in Baluwatar  on Saturday, UNMIN chief Martin said peace process  could be more complex if political deadlock of the country would not be resolved.

The PM expressed his hope that political parties would resolve  the crisis within a few days stating that he was holding discussions with Maoist chairman Prachanda in this regard.

According to PM's foreign advisor Dr. Suresh Chalise, Martin briefed PM Koirala about his New York visit. Martin is departing for New York UN headquarter tomorrow to brief latest situation of Nepal's  peace process.

UNMIN has expressed its disappointment over the political deadlock of Nepal specially created after the suspension of Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
