Maoists and Madhesi MPs disrupt House again

Maoists and Madhesi parliamentarians have again disrupted the proceedings of the interim legislature parliament Wednesday, leading the Speaker Subash Nemwang to adjourn the House till May 9.

They reiterated their demand that the recommendations of the Electoral Constituency Delimitation Commission (ECDC) be scrapped as it was formed unilaterally by the previous SPA government.

The Maoist and Madhesi MPs have been disrupting the House proceedings for the last few days putting forward their several demands.

Among their demands include annulment of the Constituency Delimitation Commission formed by the government to fix constituencies for the upcoming Constituent Assembly polls.
