Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has formed a separate fund to provide relief to the victims of landslide and flood.
According to the FNCCI press release issued on Tuesday, an emergency meeting of standing committee has called upon members across the nation to provide relief materials and financial support to landslide and flood victims from their respective districts and areas.
The FNCCI alone collected 1.2 million rupees in donations from its central and executive members and officials. The amount included 500,000 rupees provided by Golchha Organization.
Meanwhile, Chaudhary Group (CG) issuing a statement said that 0.1 rupee earned by selling each packet of Wai Wai noodles for one month from Tuesday onward would be collected in a separate fund to contribute for the relief of landslide and flood victims.
