Banda affects life, three injured in clash
Republican set up with racial, linguistic and regional autonomy and proportional electoral system.
Minimal vehicular movement was seen in the capital. There is sporadic movement of taxis and private vehicles including motorcycles. Banda Organizers had obstructed the roads burning tyres in several places including Chabahil, Kalanki, Kalimati, Koteshwar, Baneshwar, Balaju, Maharajgunj and Old buspark.
Three individuals including Ram Bahadur Thapa magar, Secretary General of NFIN were injured when class took place between protesters and passengers in Kalanki. They are undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Model Hospital.
Protestors also vandalized four tempos and micro buses. Police arrested four demonstrators from Kalimati. Many transportation means have been stranded in several places of the capital due to banda.
