FNCCI leads goodwill rally
A goodwill rally was staged in the capital on Saturday to deliver the message of peace. At a time of unabated unrest in mid and eastern Terai, the rally was organized to show the unity and solidarity of various professional organizations and entrepreneurs for peace.
The rally led by Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI), an umbrella organization of business and industrial communities, started from Basantapur square passed through Jamal, Kamaladi and Ghandaghar and concluded at Tudikhel.
Addressing the participants before conclusion of the rally, Chandi Raj Dhakal, president of FNCCI, said such rallies could accumulate solidarity from various organizations in contributing to the efforts of peace.
Industrialists, entrepreneurs, intellectuals and people from various professional organizations and various walks of life took part in the rally.
