Wai Wai reaches Saudi Arabia
Wai Wai noodles has become the first Nepali instant noodles to be lunched in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia. Wai Wai is the product of product of CG Foods (Nepal) Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Chaudhary Group.
According to the press release, launching ceremony held at the Al-Marhaba hotel was attended by the government officials, representatives of Nepali embassy, media and business houses.
Chaudhary Group has tied up with Savana Corporation, Riyadh for marketing of Wai Wai noodles in Saudi Arabia. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Prakash Kumar Subedi said that the bilateral relations between Nepal and Saudi Arabia has not only maintained as a laborer exporting and importing country but has also raised hopes for exploring other areas of business.
Dipendra Bhatta, head of export division at CG, laid out the company's aggressive plans to promote Wai Wai in the region. Apart from Saudi Arabia, Wai Wai noodles is exported to Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, the UK and Canada.
