ADB official promises continuation of assistance

Asian Development Bank (ADB) is to continue its support to Nepal. Visiting vice president of ADB Jin Liqun today expressed commitment to prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala in this regard.

ADB official also expressed concern to the ongoing ambitious Melamchi Drinking Water Project and other projects being run with the loan assistance of ADB in the meeting with premier Koirala.

Prime minister Koirala had requested official Jin to keep on assistance to Nepal. The ADB official has arrived Nepal to participate a meeting of donor community slated to kick off from today.
