Expressing solidarity to the business community’s agitation, the Airlines Operators’ Association of Nepal on Tuesday decided to halt air services on Thursday.
Issuing a press statement, Bikash SJB Rana, the chairman of the association, said Buddha Air would halt the services for half day and all other airlines operators would halt the services throughout the day on Thursday.
Similarly, the Association of Development Banks’ of Nepal also expressed solidarity with the strike supported by over 70 trade and professional associations.
Expressing solidarity with the business community’s strike, the Independent National Democratic Confederation of Nepalese Trade Unions has called on the government to immediately address the business community’s demands and create conducive atmosphere for the smooth running of industries.
