The British Ambassador to Nepal, Dr Andrew Hall said maintaining law and order situation, and addressing the issues of the excluded and marginalised groups should be the steps towards constituent assembly elections.

"It has to be a free and fair and credible election and for that people should feel secure," Dr Hall said at a press conference held after the inauguration of the British Visa Application Centre in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Stating that the achievement of the people's movement as a first part of the story and not the end, he said that the UK would continue support for Nepal's peace process and electoral arrangement.
