People's council is to serve public, says Bhattarai

Senior leader of CPN-Maoist Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has made it clear that Joint Revolutionary People's Council (JRPC) was reactivated as a voluntary organization to serve people.

In an interview with Nepal FM, a local radio station of Kathmandu, Dr. Bhattarai also said the Council was not a parallel local government.  
 
Leader Bhattarai also said the Council would help government in development activities being committed to the public adding that the Council would be more active during Constituent Assembly elections.

Leader Bhattarai also informed that his party would probe the incident of attack over Congress leader Dilendra Prasad Badu by Maoist cadres.
