Kantipur disputes is workers-boss issue, says Maoist leader Bhattarai

Senior leader of CPN-Maoist Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that the issues erupted in Kantipur publication was not the issue of press freedom claiming that it was an issue of boss and laborers.

Dr. Bhattarai also said his party had solidarity to the strike launched by laborer union in Kantipur publication. 

Speaking at a program organized by Maoist affiliated All Nepal Trade Union Federation in Kathmandu  on Wednesday, leader Bhattarai said the disputes between Kamtipur publication and laborers should be resolved through internal negotiations. He also claimed that some people were trying defame his party in the name of laborers' intervention in Kantipur publication.

On the occasion, UML leader Jhalanath Khanal said that going in vandalism was not appropriate suggesting that negotiations was essential among working journalists, employees and management. 

Maoist affiliated All Nepal Communication and Printing Workers Association has been disruption smooth publication and distribution of Kantipur and The Kathmandu Post for few days.
