Adhikari also said that Indian leaders were keen to see the robust coordination among eight parties for the institution development of democracy in the country.
Speaking on the same occasion, Binay Dhwoj Chand, a central committee member of Nepali Congress, lamented that the eight parties had not carried out sufficient home work to proclaim republicanism in the country.
"Establishing republic set-up calls for diligent preparations. But, the eight parties have just indulged themselves in mere preaching as far as republicanism goes," Chand related.
He also alleged that the Maoist leadership were wrecking havoc with the law and order situation of the country in the name of Young Communist League (YCL).
"If the YCL is a political organization, it should not display criminal activities," he said.
Similarly, Dina Nath Sharma, a standing committee member of CPN (Maoist) said that republicanism should be declared through interim parliament.
He also divulged that his party was carrying out sensitive talks with prime minister Girija Prasad Koirala regarding the early announcement of republicanism and creating amenable atmosphere to hold constituent assembly polls.
"Soon after the endorsement of second amendment of interim stature, the efforts will be made to proclaim republic in the country, Sharma informed.
