Bomb exploded at Maoist party office

A bomb was exploded at the party office of CPM-Maoist at Buddhanagar, Kathmandu Tuesday night. The explosion has slightly broken window panes of the first floor of the office.

Police said one unexploded bomb was found at the gate of the office. Maoist leader Dinanath Sharma condemned the bomb explosion and has asked the government to take action against the culprits.

Meanwhile, The Himalayan Times has reported that it received an anonymous call from a person identifying himself as an activist of Nepal Defense Army claiming responsibility for the blast.

A few days back, two bombs were discovered at the party office premises. They did not go off. Later, the Nepal Defense Army had claimed responsibility for planting those bombs as well.
