Eight individuals injured in explosion

Minutes after the conclusion of mass meeting organized by Seven Party Alliance (SPA) in Khula Mancha (Open Air Theatre) of capital city Kathmandu, unidentified person today afternoon detonated a bomb in Bhotahiti areas leaving at least eight individuals injured.

The bomb was hurled at a passenger bus under a overhead bridge in Ratnapark-Bhotahity intersection.

In the explosion,  taxi driver of Ba 1 Cha 8819 Toran Gurung, Dipesh Nepali, Bir Bahadur Tamang, Saraswati Lama, Shiva Khadka, Raju Shrestha, Ram Sundar Adhikari, and Bharat Tamang have been injured.

Injured individuals are undergoing treatment at Bir hospital. No one has taken responsibility of the explosion.
