Two injured in bomb detonation

At least two were injured in a bomb explosion in Bhanu Chowk of Janakpur Munacipality-1 last night.

Police stated that an Indian national Ram Asish and a tea shopkeeper Ram Bharoshi Sah were injured in the explosion. The injured are undergoing medical treatment at the Janakpur Zonal Hospital.

Police further informed that none has taken responsibility over the incident. 

Meanwhile, at least a local Jagadish Sah sustained injury when an unidentified armed group fired bullets. It is said that a group comprising 15-20 persons shot the bullets.

It is informed that properties worth of about 0.3 million have also been looted.
