Following the inconclusive end of the meeting between business community and Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala Wednesday morning, business community has continued its program of agitation. Representatives of Business community said they would continue the protest until the ruling allies and the Maoist assure them with written commitment.
The delegates from the business community had sought the PM's attention regarding the failure to implement the repeated government assurances to ensure security for business enterprises.
During the meet, PM Koirala stated that the government was committed to safeguard Nepalese industries and business community. However, business delegates had expressed the dissatisfaction that government didn't keep the commitments

President of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) Chandi Raj Dhakal said that the prime minister assured the business entrepreneurs that their demands would be discussed during Wednesday's meeting of the eight parties.
After the meeting with the prime minister, the businesspersons organized a protest gathering at Basantapur. Representatives of civil society and various professional groups were also present in the gathering.
