He said that the meeting also decided to extend the deadline for the distribution of citizenship by another month. The deadline for the distribution of citizenship ended on Wednesday.

The meeting also formed a high-level committee led by former Supreme Court judge Ram Nagina Singh to determine the electoral constituencies for the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls. Similarly secretary Swayambhu Man Amatya and former ambassador to Germany Nobel Kishore Rai have been designated as members of the committee. The judicial council will name the judge to lead the committee.
