Cabinet decides to make governmental bodies more inclusive

A meeting of the cabinet held today decided to make its all bodies, departments, and corporations more inclusive.

It has decided to increase the representations from ethnic, indigenous, women, Madhesi, and other marginalized communities in Nepali Army (NA), governmental corporations, foundations and other bodies.

Meeting also decided to pay relief to the families whose kin were killed during the decade long insurgency.

According to Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Minister for Information and Communication, the decision  will be sent to the Political Committee to proceed for  formal approval and implementations.

The meeting is also learnt to have given the behest to the Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Ram Chandra Poudel to solve Terai issues through the dialogue at the earliest.

The meeting also directed Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula to beef up the security arrangement across the nation.

In the meeting Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala is learnt to have given the suggestions to the Ministers to work towards ensuring the polls in free, fair and secure climate.
