CA meeting as legislature parliament deferred till Saturday

Today's meeting of Constituent Assembly (CA) as legislature parliament has been deferred till 11 am Saturday without seeing a motion on interim constitution amendment tabled.

Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula was scheduled to table the motion on constitution amendment. The meeting was deferred following the protest of CA members representing from madesh.

Kul Bahadur Gurung, chair of the meeting had announced meeting postponement at around 4 pm for 45 minutes as protesting madheshi CA members inside  the meeting hall didn't pay heed to the announcement of chairman  Kul Bahadur Gurung to take the seat. However, the meeting could not resume.

Madheshi CA members were protesting the move of three major political parties to amend the constitution without consulting them.
