Egyptian arms monitors arriving today

A team of six Egyptian arms monitors, who will work under the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN), are arriving in the capital Sunday to assist in the peace process.

Issuing a press release today, the Egyptian embassy said that Egypt was ready to help Nepal through all possible means to achieve lasting peace in the country.

Earlier, the Egyptian deputy Chief Military Advisor Sayed Ghoneim arrived in Nepal on March 24.
