Members of the European Parliament (MEP) are arriving in Nepal in four-day visit on Wednesday. The delegation to be led by Neena GILL, Chair of the European Parliament’s Delegation to SAARC and South Asia Countries will meet with the Prime Minister, ministers and other government officials.
According to press release issued by European Union in Nepal on Tuesday, the discussion will be focused on the ongoing peace process, preparation for the Constituent Assembly polls and situation of Bhutanese refugee in Nepal.
Besides conferring with PM, The delegation will also meet with Minister for Foreign Affairs, Election Commission as well as of the civil society, business community, media and the Bhutanese Movement Steering Committee.
Similarly, the delegation is also slated to hold talks with international organizations including SAARC, UNMIN, OHCHR, development agencies, diplomatic missions and EU Member States present in Kathmandu, the release said.
