CA meeting deferred for indefinite period

Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting has been deferred  for indefinite period as the major political parties failed to reach consensus on the key issues including power sharing and the adjustment of Maoists’ people’s liberation army.

Stating that no agendas were there to discuss in the meeting, Chairman of the CA Kul Bahadur Gurung announced the deferral of the CA meeting. The meeting held at Birendra International Conference Center lasted for half and hour.

Speaking in the meeting, members of the CA accused prime minister, minister and  top political leaders of disregarding the assembly. They stressed to the earliest resolution of the existing political deadlock.  

CA members Narahari Acharya, Dharma Shila Chapagai, Sabitri, and Gagan Bhusal among other spoke in the meeting.
