Floriculture Trade Fair to kick off from April 5

With a view to promote floriculture business and to inform its prospects, Floriculture Association of Nepal (FAN) is scheduled to organize Floriculture Trade Fair 2007 from April 5 to 9 in Kathmandu.

Organized by FAN and co-organized by Agro Enterprise Centre/FNCCI, Trade and Export Promotion Centre and Department of Agriculture, the expo will host 64 stalls, 60 professional stalls and 4 informative stalls.

According to FAN, the trade fair will showcase ornamental flower, seasonal flower, cut flower, dry flower, orchid, compost manure, flower bulb, seeds, equipments, and packaging materials.

Beside this, the main attraction of the fair will be best landscape design, best tree, best seasonal flower, best stall, and best design of flower, said the press release issued by FAN.

In the fair, FAN is will reward best cut flower producer and the best floriculture entrepreneur.

According to FAN, it is estimated that transaction worth of Rs.6 million is expected in the fair.

FAN is organizing floriculture trade fair since 1994 and it has organized national level floriculture expo for nine times and one international level expo.
