Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged the government, political parties, and protesters to help create conducive environment to operate business and industries.
Issuing a press statement, FNCCI recalled that frequent bandas and strikes have rendered industries closed which have been contributing for national investment and technology attraction.
Stating that the industry managements were unable to provide salary and allowance to labourers and employees due to the long obstruction, FNCCI said the persisting environment could lay serious impact on national and foreign investment.
Custom offices linked with Indian boarder in Terai have been affected by the closure staged by Madheshi Janaadhikar Forum. The daily activities of 12 custom offices in Jhapa have been disrupted due to the closure.
However, daily works have been unaffected in Biratnagar Custom Office.
