Fuel shortage will end soon: Minister Gupta

Minister for Industry, commerce and Supply Shyam Sundar Gupta has said the shortage of petroleum products seen in Kathmandu valley would turn normal within a week. 

In a meet with a delegation of Consumers Forum Nepal this morning, Minister Gupta ensured that petrol supply would be regular within a few days.

Quoting the Minister as saying, Forum's General Secretary Chij Kumar Shrestha said he (Minister Gupta) would manage monitoring of the distribution of the petroleum products in market. 

The forum has demanded that price hike should be controlled, Consumer Court should be formed and black market should be stopped.
