Govt. instructs home ministry to submit security plan within 24 hours

The government has instructed Home Ministry to submit a work plan prepared to maintain law and security order in the country within 24 hours.

A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday issued an order to this end. The meeting has also asked Home Ministry to beef up security situation in three districts of the valley and eight districts in Terai region.

The cabinet meeting has decided to deploy Armed and Nepal Police in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur and eight districts along Parsa to Sapatari to adopt special security arrangement.

The government also instructed the Home Ministry to make agitating government employee feel if they are secured.

Minister for Health and Population Giriraj Mani Pokhrel said the meeting also decided to forward three year interim plan to Finance committee of the parliament.
