Health Minister urges health activists to work fairly

Minister for Health and Population Giri Raj Mani Pokhrel has instructed the government officials to provide free and fair service to the people. He said that the officials should be determined to  provide quality service to the people.

Minister Pokhrel, however, warned of taking action against the employees who do not go to their respective work places. The minister also urged the officials not to discriminate the people on  the basis of their political belief. 

Minister Pokhrel was on his visit to Dhawalagiri zone in order to receive the information about the conditions of the health posts and hospitals throughout the zone.

During his visit  to the hospital of Parbat district, Chief District Officer of Parbat submitted him a 13 poits pact from the side of Hospital Development Committee (HDC) demanding the immediate address of the problems that the hospital was facing since long.

Quoting the 13 points pact submitted to the Minister, INS correspondent reported that the HDC demanded an Ambulance, increment in the quotas of beds, X-Ray Machines and other equipments as well as well trained technicians.
