Industrialist Hulas Chanda Golcha passes away

Nepal's reknowned industrialist Hulas Chanda Golcha passed away at the age of 74 on Friday morning.

Golcha died at his residence in Sitpaila at 3:30 AM. He was suffering from long-standing heart problems.

Golcha, who was also the head of the Golcha organisation, owned over two dozens food, jute and electrical wire industries.

He is also known as the founder of Nepal's corrugated steel industry and co-founder of Nepal's first industry, Raghupati Jute Mills with his father.

Golcha is survived by his wife and sons Chandra Kumar, Surendra, Sekhar and Sanjaya Golcha.

According to a sources, his final rites is beeing performed at Pashupati Aryaghat.
