India has pleaded Rs. 21.4 million to Nepal for infrastructure development in three schools, one each in Kailali, Kanchanpur and Dadeldura district.
The press release issued on Tuesday said the counselor (Economic Cooperation), on behalf of the Ambassador of India laid the foundation stones for the construction of new buildings of Saraswoti Higher Secondary School in Geta VDC of Kailali, Ghatal Higher Secondary School in Suda VDC of Kanchanpur and Mahendra Higher Secondary School in Khalanga VDC in the Dadeldura at different functions held on March 19 and 20.
The government of India has provided Rs 11.5 million to the Kailali District Development Committee (DDC), Rs. 4.03 million to the Kanchanpur DDC and Rs 5.9 million to the Dadeldhura DDC for construction of buildings in this conection.
