House session adjourned

Citing to make consensus among the major political parties on the existing political impasse, the winter session of parliament, which began Monday, has been adjourned until November 29.

Speaker Subash Chandra Nemwang said the parliament should move ahead addressing the people's sentiments and demands. He, however, urged the political parties to make consensus on the common issues of the nation.

At the session, the CPN-Maoist proposed to review the agreements made between the government and the Maoist and seek new basis to keep the alliance between the parties intact.
