Agitating Joint Terai Madhesh Liberation Front (JTMLF) has said holding of Constituent Assembly (CA) elections was impossible in the prevailing situation.
Organizing a press conference in the capital city Kathmandu today, JTMLF also said the latest remarks of Prime minister Girija Prasad Koirala pushed the dialogue towards uncertainty.
Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala had said that it was impossible to fulfill the demand of 'single madhesh, single province'.
Speaking at the press conference, Chairman of Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Mahantha Thakur said the madhesh movement would not come to an end accusing the government of remaining apathetic to the sensitive demands of medheshi people.
On the same occasion, coordinator of Medheshi People's Rights Forum (MPRF) Upendra yadav demanded an immediate end of security interferences to the madhesh movement. He also urged the government to make the arrangement of medical treatment to those injured in the medhesh movement.
Claiming that the rights to self decision was not to disintegrate the nation but for social inclusion, Yadav ruled out the holding of CA elections in such situation. Dissident Sadvawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato, however urged the government to solve the problem through dialogue.
