Janakpur banda cripples life

Banda called by Medheshi political parties and different armed groups has crippled life in Janakpur.

Madheshi parties and armed groups have been organizing banda for four days to in different districts of Terai. Due to banda, highway and major roads have been deserted in Janakpur. Business enterprises and academic institutions have also closed.

Jwala Singh led Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-J) had detonated bombs in railway station, Piradichok, Mahabir Chok, Zero mile, and Ramchok among other place yesterday night. A clash also took place between banda organizers and police yesterday evening that left 6 persons injured.
