A eight members team led by Ken Noguchi, a Japanese citizen, is going to clean up Mt. Everest from North and South sides in near future.
Ken Noguchi, accompanied by other members, who has collected and picked up 8.8 tons of garbage from Mt. Everest so far, has expected to collect some one ton of garbage from the region this time.
In a press conference organized in the capital on Wednesday, Noguchi said that his initiation would encourage other people to engage in environment protection of such regions. He also opined that clean up of Mt. Everest would also contribute delivering a good message in international mountaineering community.
"Ten years ago, when I was on my first expedition to Mt. Everest from North side, I had closely looked the Rongbuk Glacier and this time I will be able to compare ten years on the impact of global warming on the glaciers and its surrounding" he add.
This expedition will also involve the climbing of two women to summit of Mt. Everest- Kei Taniguchi from Japan and Pasang Lhamu Sherpa from Solukhumbu district of Nepal.
Pemba Dorje Sherpa, a world record holder of the fastest time in climbing will also clime the Mt. Everest taking the flags of all the countries of the world, flags of eight political parties of Nepal, photo of lord Gautam Buddha and Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.
