Irked industrialists of Butwal have warned of launching struggle against the Maoists after latter padlocked one of the renowned industries of Butwal industrial zone.
The laborers affiliated to the Maoists had padlocked Lumbini Cable Industries and cut electricity line without information four days ago. Industrialists have said they would go in struggle if the industry would not be unlocked.
President of Industry association Butwal, Ajaj Alam said that the act of attacking industries which have already been victimized during conflict period was condemnable.
According to the industrialists, laborers have padlocked the industry protesting shift of duty period.
Meanwhile, Maoists have captured a vegetable ghee factory in Bihuli, Madhawaliya VDC of Rupandehi district. A Maoist cadre said the factory was captured in line with the party decision as it belonged to the royal kin.
The factory which belonged to Sitashma Shahi, daughter of late prince Dhirendra was transferred to former minister of royal government Jagat Gauchan. The factory has been closed for a few months.
