Maoist sends seven names with three new faces in the government

CPN Maoist has recommended names of seven leaders to be inducted in different ministries with three new faces. Party Chairman Prachanda today forwarded the names to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.

Giving continuity to the Ministries they quitted on September 18, the Maoist has nominated Krishna Bahadur Mahara for the Ministry of Information and Communication, Dev Gurung for Local Ministry, Matrika Yadav for Forest and Soil Conservation Ministry and Hisila Yami for Ministry of Physical planning and Works.

Similarly, as new faces, the Maoist has recommended Pampha Bhusal for the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare, Padam Rai for the state minister for Forest and Soil conservation and Nabin Kumar Bika for State Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare. Bika was nominated as the representative of far western region.

The Maoist had decided to rejoin the government after signing of the 23 point agreement reached on last Suday.
