In the wake of existing differences between CPN-M and business community, both parties have agreed to constitute a high level committee to clear the misunderstanding. A report said Maoist leaders and representatives of the business community have agreed to constitute such committee holding a meeting.
The meeting is learnt to have discussed about the problem business sector was facing.
Maoist chairman Prachanda, senior Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattrai and president of Maoist-affiliated trade union Shalik Ram Jamarkattel met with president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) Chandi Raj Dhakal, president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) Surendra Bir Malakar and president of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), Binod Chaudhari where the two sides agreed to form the committee.
Business community has been saying that trade union disputes and unreasonable demands of the Maoist persisted even after the mainstreaming of the Maoist. Business community which was on agitation had withdrawn its program of protests after eight political parties expressed written commitment to solve the problems.
