UNSG Moon to visit Nepal on Oct. 30

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon is scheduled to visit Nepal from October 30-31, 2008 followed by a trip to Bangladesh.

Reports said that the date was fixed during a meeting of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'  and UNSG Moon on Saturday at the UN Headquarters in New York.

At the meeting, PM 'Prachanda' had extended an invitation to visit Nepal to which UNSG Moon had also assured to visit Nepal soon.

According to reports, the South Korean Foreign Minister turned Secretary -General of the United Nations Mr Moon will also visit Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha.
