President Yadav invites CPN-M to form govt.

President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav on Tuesday has invited the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) to form the government.

According to a press statement issued by the office of the President Tuesday night, Dr Yadav urged the CPN-Maoist, the largest single party in the Constituent Assembly (CA) to form the government by forging political understanding within seven days.

The President asked Maoist to appoint new Prime Minister and council of ministers in accordance with Article 38 Clause (1) of the Interim Constitution of Nepal-2007.
