Indian Boarder Security Force intensifies checking

Indian administration has intensified security check near Nepal-India boarder across Jhapa and Ilam districts in eastern Nepal taking under consideration the elections of National Council in Bhutan. However, the refugees in the camps and Nepali locals said Indian security was unnecessarily troubling them.

India intensified security to prevent anti-Bhutan activities from refugees camps in both of the districts. The Bhutan is holding National Council's elections on
December 30.

Boarder security Force (Seema Suraksha Bal-SSB) has set up 15 security check posts along the boarder areas.
