Police arrested a man attempting loot

Police on Friday arrested a man with a pistol from Chabahil while attempting to loot cash from a couple.

According to police, Suraj Bista, 28, of Makawanpur district was arrested when he tried to rob Rs. 2.5 million from Bharat Devkota and Nisha Devkota of Sairam Consultant when they were on the way from Agriculture Development Bank’s Chabahil branch after windrowing the money. 

Police has recovered an Italian pistol from Bista.

According to police, Bista told the police that he acted all alone. The police has initiated investigation whether Bista has any link with valley’s crime gangs
