Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala Sunday has committed towards returning the property of persons displaced during the decade long Maoist insurgency.
Addressing the Nepali Congress parliamentary party meeting Sunday, Koirala said that the government – which enjoyed the full support of the people -- would move ahead by resolving all problems.
The PM's comments come in the wake of widespread criticism by NC parliamentarians who had blamed the government's weakness and the irresponsible activities of the Maoists for the present state of confusion regarding the Constitutional Assembly elections.
PM Koirala also urged his party members to make suggestions to help the government lay grounds regarding the framework of the country's future federal setup.
