Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has said that the differences including on power sharing persisting among the political parties would be resolved within June 5. Second meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) resumes on June 5.
Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala said this in a meet with former speaker of the interim legislature parliament today morning at former's official residence Baluwatar. Nembang said that the PM also assured him that the process of the formation of the new government would also start by that date.
Quoting PM Koirala as saying, Nembang said he (PM Koirala) was holding discussions with political parties to resolve the differences.
'I also sought attention of the PM on the nomination of 26 CA members and implementation of the agreements reached with different parties/organizations in the past' he said. Nembang said there was no alternative of the agreement.
The formation of the government has been delayed as the largest party CPN-Maoist is stick with its demand that prime minister and president should be inducted from the same party; specifically from the Maoist as it has emerged as the largest party after CA election.
