PM instructs security officers to beef up security situation

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has directed security officers to tighten the security arrangement throughout the country.

Concerning the security arrangements, PM Koirala consulted the Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Minister Ram Chandra Poudel, Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula and State Minister for Home Affairs Ram Kumar Yadav this morning.

Likewise, PM Koirala had also met Army Chief Rukmangad Katwal, Defense Secretary and other security officials.

According to an insider in the meeting, mobilization of Nepali Army to maintain peace and security to hold the Constituent Assembly polls in the stipulated date was also discussed.
