PM against one Madesh one province demand

Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress (NC) Girija Prasad Koirala has said he would not agree on one Madhes one province as demanded by agitating groups ion terai region.

In response to queries of journalists in Biratnagar today, PM Koirala said he was not willing to compromise with anyone on issues like sovereignty, nationality and national integrity.

PM Koirala urged all the parties to show commitments towards holding the Constituent Assembly polls on the scheduled date.

The Prime Minister reached Biratnagar on the eve of rituals on the first death anniversary of his sister-in-law Nona Koirala.
