PM vows for women inclusion in various commissions

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has vowed that 33 percent women would be included in the different commissions to be formed in future.

The PM also urged women not to worry about their inclusion stating that constitution has already given assurance on this.

Talking to the members of National Women Commissions today, Prime Minister Koirala had given this assurance. Commission members also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister demanding women presence in different commissions to be set as per the agreement reached on December 23.

Member of the Commission Dhan Kumari Sunar said Prime Minister Koirala was positive to their demands.
