Police arrests 25 professional looters in eastern Terai

Police has arrested 25 ‘professional looters’ with arms Wednesday night in Sarlahi and Bara districts of eastern Terai.

Looters were arrested from Karmaiya of Sarlahi and Nijgadh of Bara, said the police. According to the police, a team of armed Police base camp Nichgdh arrested 11 looters who were boarding a night bus bound to Dhangdhi from Nawlpur. 

Another gang comprising 14 looters was arrested from a nigh bus bound to Nepalgunj. The Police said it seized two pistols, eight rounds of bullets and three packets of explosive materials from the first gang and three pistols and some rounds of bullets from next gang. 

The most of the looters are the residents of Bunarbas village of Netrajung Village Development Committee.
