Police arrests 23 landless

Police arrested 23 landless people from Maitimandala, a hub of capital city Kathmandu today. The police has kept them at the office of metropolitan police Baneshwor. The police arrested them to prevent them from taking to streets for gheraoing Singhdarbar. 

The landless people of Seti and Mahakali zones have flocked to Kathmandu  demanding food, shelter and employment. The protesters have warned of announcing fresh programs of protests if the government failed to meet their demands till December 21.
