Five million children fed polio drops

Around five  million children are said to be benefited from polio drops in the country on the eve of the first session of 10th National Polio Vaccination day.

Children of 68 districts are scheduled to receive polio drops today. It is reported that 40 thousand vaccination centre and 50 thousands volunteer women health workers and other volunteers are involved in distributing polio drops to children below the age of five.

Nepal has launched the polio vaccination program in accordance with the assurance to the World Health Organization.
