As no agreement is reached among eight political parties on power sharing in an interim government supposed to be formed 'soon', the CPN-Maoist has said that it may not be a part of the interim government.
Maoist leaders have been accusing the government of paying no sincere heed to hold the Constituent Assembly (CA) polis in stipulated time by delaying formation of the interim government.
The Maoist leadership that was slated to hold meeting to decide whether or not to be included in the interim government among others on Monday will meet only on Tuesday. The timetable was changed following Chairman Prachanda's busy schedule.
Speaker of the CPN-M Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that the most of central members have purposed that party should not be a part of the interim government and Tuesday's meeting would discuss the issue.
Similarly, the meeting is reported to discuss on the CA polls and its preparation and Gaur incident.
Leaders of CPN-UML and CPN-M have been accusing Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala of creating obstacles to finalize the issues by claiming major portfolios.
The meeting of the eight political parties slated for Monday could not be held due to the rigid stance on ministerial portfolio.
