Maoist chairman Prachanda has said his party will continue to push the demand for all-out Proportional Representative (PR) system.

Addressing a program organized by the Central Broadcasting Department of the party in Kathmandu Sunday, Prachanda said that the Maoists had not given up the demand for PR system.

Prachanda also accused the Nepali Congress for the deferral of Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.

Prachanda argued that the resignation of four Madhesi lawmakers was an indication of foreign powers trying to put a price on Nepal's parliament.

Informing about the Maoist party’s upcoming programs, Prachanda said the party would soon launch “return to the village” campaign to improve party’s relation with the people.

According to Prachanda, the four-month-long campaign would be announced after the upcoming central committee meeting.
